Sponsorship
Media
Media activity is an important part of our sponsorship work and we have built a strategic communications base with editorial contacts in different sectors and different media.
We regularly place stories about our events and courses in regional print and broadcast outlets, international trade titles, and specific overseas newspapers, and are consulted by journalists looking for expert comment on the international trading scene.
We have dedicated space in the three important Chamber magazines produced for businesses in Bradford, Leeds, and York and North Yorkshire, and place articles on their e-zines and websites which have a closely targeted audience.
For any event, course or trade visit we also ask partner and sponsor organisations whether they would like the opportunity to use our professionally-produced promotional material in their own in-house publications, websites, or client-facing literature.

Event helps businesses face crunch concerns
Key figures in the Yorkshire business community are backing an innovative new event that will help businesses beat the credit crunch. Councillor Andrew Carter, Leeds City Council; Phil Ward, Passenger Sales Director at Jet2; and Leeds Bradford International Airport’s (LBIA) Commercial and Aviation Development Director Tony Hallwood joined Chamber International’s Tim Bailey and Nikki Cunningham to promote the FREE ‘International Business Advice Open Day’, which takes place on the 16th September 2008.
Andrew Carter, Deputy Leader of Leeds Council - partners at the event - said: “We’re currently experiencing some economic uncertainty in the U.K, and businesses in all sectors will rightly want to consider new opportunities to improve their profit margins. “The International Business Advice Open Day is responding to this by giving business the information and support they need to trade internationally – in one day, under one roof, and at no cost.” More than 40 exhibitors specialising in areas of international trade will be present on the day including the Institute of Export, innovative foreign exchange specialists 4x Currency Corporation and i2i Solutions – developers of e-Cert World an interactive exporter portal. Saville Audio Visual, Jet2.com and Leeds City Council are supporting the International Business Advice Open Day.
