Helen Scott – Managing Director, 4X Currency Corporation plc

Helen Scott is co-founder and managing director of 4X Currency Corporation. She was born and grew up in Leeds, and has recently returned to live back in Leeds and to open 4X’s sales office here.

In between, she has had over 20 years’ experience as a City trader and investment manager, with senior roles in London, Tokyo and Brighton for companies including Daiwa Securities, Société Genérale and Seymour Pierce.

She has also worked as a financial translator for the Financial Times, and holds a masters degree in Japanese.

Along with her business partner, Martyn Redman, she formed 4X Currency in 2004, making it the first non-bank in the world to offer live streaming foreign exchange rates to small and medium sized businesses.
